MIT Undergraduate Society for Women in Mathematics
Welcome to the webpage for MIT’s Undergraduate Society of Women in Mathematics (USWIM)! USWIM is a club for women and nonbinary students who are interested in math. You do not have to be a math major to be a part of USWIM! We host career-oriented events, social events, and outreach events. In the 2020-2021 academic year, we will be piloting a mentorship program, where we pair first years/sophomores with juniors/seniors based on interests and potential career goals.
- Provide a safe, welcoming, and friendly community within the math department at MIT
- Make USWIM members aware of the resources and opportunities available to them
How to join
USWIM welcomes female identifying and nonbinary students interested in math to join. Being a math major is not necessary! If you’re interested in joining, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org!
